    Can’t Sign into Xbox App or Minecraft PE – Microsoft Account Won’t Add


    Hello,

    I’m having a major issue with signing into my Microsoft account on my Android device. Here’s what happened:

    Minecraft PE asked to reauthenticate my Microsoft account, but the login failed.

    After that, I couldn’t sign into the Xbox app either.

    Now, I can’t even add my Microsoft account to my device in Settings.

    However, I can still sign in to my Microsoft account on the website, so my account is fine.

    What I’ve Tried So Far:

    ✅ Reinstalling Minecraft and the Xbox app

    ✅ Clearing cache and data for Xbox, Microsoft Authenticator, and Google Play Services

    ✅ Resetting app preferences

    ✅ Using different networks (Wi-Fi, mobile data, VPN)

    ✅ Trying different Microsoft accounts

    ✅ Checking that my account has no restrictions or suspensions

    Even after all of this, I still can’t add my Microsoft account to my phone or sign into Xbox/Minecraft.

    Possible Issue?

    It seems like my device is blocked from Microsoft authentication, but I have no idea why.

    Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to fix it without a full factory reset?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Has anyone else had this issue with their account status?

    I’m having the same issue. Told me to connect to Xbox live but it won’t connect. I am connected to the internet because the other apps work. Can’t contact Xbox because their virtual assistant is a nightmare and freezes up.

    So I tried to remove my account and re add it, but now it won’t even let me add an account back to the Xbox. Now I can’t use any apps. Basically stuck.

    The Minecraft sign in may use the Microsoft account credentials for the account. Sounds like this account may be in a family. Please take a look at the troubleshooting article:

    Change your child’s Xbox privacy and online safety settings    .

    Friends can join friends realms locally
    (this works if the friend is in the same area):

    • click settings
    • local server multiplayer
      • set setting : on

    How to add a friend on Minecraft PE:

    • On the home page
    • click sign in [bottom left]
    • sign in with Microsoft account
    • click on play
    • click menu
    • select friend
    • invite to game
    • send invite

    and what is the error codes you get when trying to sign in?
