    Can't sign into Xbox App (0x409) 0x80080300


    I am unable to sign into the Xbox Console Companion nor the Xbox (Beta) App.

    After trying every fix I could find on Google I decided to do a repair install which didn't help.

    I'm on the latest version of Windows (2004) with all the latest updates and with up to date drivers.

    What I've tried:

    • Uninstalling the app through PowerShell and redownloading it.
    • Resetting the Xbox apps and the Windows Store through Apps & features.
    • Making sure the Xbox app can connect to the internet in my settings.
    • I tried using a local account which had the same error.
    • Reregistering all my Windows apps through PowerShell
    • Downloading the Xbox Identity Provider
    • Resetting the Windows Store with wsreset.exe
    • Making sure all Xbox services are running and enabled in Services.msc and Msconfig
    • Clearing the Xbox Identity Data manually
    • Unplugging my second monitor
    • Running SFC and DISM to check for any corrupted Windows files
    • Making sure my Xbox account isn't banned and has a good reputation
    • Running the Window Store Apps trouble shooter
    • Making sure my Time and Timezone are set correctly
    I've also tried a bunch more fixes that I can't remember or some that I didn't fully understand and just pasted in my Powershell. I'm on page 4 of Google looking through sketchy links hoping there's a fix out there somewhere that'll allow me to finally play
    Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 with my Xbox Games Pass for PC and I'm really hoping someone here can help me out.

    I'm getting an error code called (0x409) 0x80080300 i dont know how to fix this.

    The methods below didnt work.

    Yeah I have the same problem .So everytime i open Xbox on Pc. It's said that i can't log in right now . and then give me the error code: (0x409) 0x80080300 . there is an app called Xbox indentity provider. It's said i need to upgrade. and i can'r upgrade

    Unable to Sign into the Xbox Console Companion Error (0x409) 0x80080300

    I get the same issue but only on 1 pc, Reset Windows Stored app and Uninstalled and uninstalled Xbox Console Companion and stil unable to login (0x409) error.

    Unfortunately, the resource you shared does not have a solution for the issue I am facing (basis the image above). Every time in click on the sign in button, there is a window that pops up for a fraction of a second and then disappears
    and the error code (0x409) 0x80080300 shows up below the sign in button.

    Would you happen to have some other solutions for me to try?
