Can't sign into Wordament with Win 8.1 phone.

Quite suddenly I lost ability to sign onto Wordament on Lumia 925 Win 8.1 phone. I can sign on only as guest. I am signed onto Xbox Live on the phone and can play other Xbox games on the phone. I can also play Wordament fine on my PC. I have soft reset
phone and reinstalled Wordament to no avail. Thanks.

Probably the wrong place, if so can someone link me yo the correct forum. I have profile on my phone but with some games like wordament, its says unable to sign into xbl but i am signed in. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

 

Having the same problem. Has been going on for over 24 hours now. And there are a plenty of us with the same problem. Where is the solution?

 

Maybe the Wordament server is the issue. On Xbox.com site there is a notice (support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status) that there were problems with Xbox although it didn't specifically
mention Wordament. Unless there is another solution, we'll have to wait it out.

 

Having same problem as everyone else. Re-installed game etc. It's no fun playing as a guest

 

Am having the same issue. Spent ages with windows phone help people last night checking there were no issues with my microsoft account. In the end they suggested I contact the game developer. The problem seems to be limited to wordament on Windows phones.

I can also play in guest mode but if I try and sign in it loads for an insrant saying "welcome back <username>" and then crashes out. Any thoughts on how to overcome this?

 

You have to go into Xbox.com and either make an avatar for yourself or make a change to your existing avatar. Then you can sign in. Doesn't make sense but it works. Look on startup page of Wordament and follow links to Wordament on Facebook and Twitter for
more details.

I've been having the same problem. I recently purchased a Lumia 520 and created a brand new Microsoft account using my gmail address. Unfortunately, my Games app cannot connect to xbox live ever since I bought the phone. I got the error "There was an error
saving the Avatar. Please try again later" when I followed this fix. Will try to edit my avatar at a later to see if this work. Bwt, this is a very silly error and Microsoft please fix this ASAP.

And I'm also looking for other ways to fix this. Thank you for your help.

 

I have the same problem to sign the Aaphalt 8 on Lumia 920 Win 8.1 phone, just as a guess not my xbox account.
