    Can’t sign into the Xbox (beta) app on windows


    Every time I press login it shows my account and says let’s play but when I press it nothing happens. Also I get ash beard error whenever I try to play Sea of Thieves, I’m not sure if their related or not. I have tried restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling the Xbox app, uninstalling and reinstalling SoT, making sure all the services are enabled and installing all the other Xbox apps like the insider app.

    Game Pass on PC not working.

    So on your PC you need to make sure the
    game pass ultimate account is signed into the
    Microsoft store app, You might want to try installing the
    xbox(beta) app     on windows as well and try downloading from there.

    Not all of the game pass games between Xbox and PC are the same, the xbox(beta) app will show you all the available and installed windows game pass games

    Installation error no matter what game that I try and install on Xbox (beta) for windows

    Guess the next things to check:

    Is the account you're logged into on the Xbox Beta app, is that the account that has the subscription? And does that match the account logged into the Windows Store? I might recommend signing out of the Xbox Beta app and then signing back in?

    Another thing would be to check what free space you have on your drive? Do you have multiple disk drives on your computer? And is the Windows Store and Xbox Beta app set to install to the system (default) drive?

    Does this error occur with all games or only certain ones, and are you signed in to the correct account/profile? Do you receive this ‘Welcome back’ prompt every time and you can’t continue regardless of what profile and game?

    Simply signing in to the Xbox Console Companion app seems to have resolved the error for others as reported in this thread:

    Hello. the simplest option is from the windows store app and there you redeem the three-month code and download the game pass games. the other option is to install the xbox beta app for pc disponiblke also in the windows store. I imagine you mean how you
    sign up for the gamepass. because once redeemed, or in the windows store or in the xbox beta app

    Please make sure your using the store on your PC and searching for "Xbox Beta" or 'Xbox App Beta". They should be available in the Windows Store.

    What issue is the Xbox App presenting? Is it still prompting you for a TOS or is it just failing to sign in?
