    Can’t sign into my Xbox account


    I recently bought the new Xbox. When I went to sign in, I couldn’t remember my password. It sent me a code and I signed in. It created a new account for me. There was nowhere to pick my regular Xbox account.

    My email is now registered with a brand new account but when I search my old gamertag I can find it with all my games attached but I can sign into it.

    How is it possible that my email is now linked to a new account and I can’t access me old one.

    Can anyone help me figure out how to get into my Xbox account?

    Thank you, I restarted my router and it made no difference. I still can’t add my account back or log into another account ok the Xbox, it just comes up with a blank screen and freezes. I also switched to another network and that also made no difference. I can still use the Xbox without signing in, for example I can use Netflix fine - I just can’t access any games because I can’t sign into any accounts. Do you have any other solutions?
