    Can't sign into iOS app using two-step verification


    Recently, I noticed that I no longer received notifications from the Xbox app on my iPhone 6s. In an attempt to correct this, I logged out. When I attempt to sign back in, I can enter my email and password. At this point, two step verification texts me
    a code. When I enter the 7 digit code, and hit Submit, nothing happens. The app does not respond at all, and I am unable to sign into the iOS app.

    Anyone else having this issue? Any work arounds or is this a known issue?

    Hi!

    With Two Step Verification, you would need to create an App Password to sign into your Xbox Live profile on Xbox 360.

    app password to sign in. Once you've signed in with your app password, you're all set to use that app or device. You'll need to create and sign in with an app password once for each app or device that can't prompt you for a security code.

    You have two choices with two step verification, generate an app password and use that in place of your regular password or disable two step verification and use your regular password.
