Can't sign in.

So, to do a quick rundown, myself along with a few other people that I've seen can't sign in to our profiles. I'm on an Xbox one S, I already have internet connected and running just fine, I've unplugged and re plugged my console, restarted, the whole nine
yards.

What are the issues?

Well, what is currently happening is that every time i try to sign in, it brings me to a small loading page typical of trying to sign in normally, however, this loading page goes on for around 7-8 minutes before taking me to another loading page, the middle-screen
type that you would normally if you needed to re-confirm your password, but this screen also does not load, and it too takes around 7-8 minutes before it finally says "You must be connected to the internet to do this" (or something along those lines, i don't
remember exactly). However, the thing is, i am already connected to the internet. I can say this with complete certainty because after trying (and failing) to log in, i can go to the bandwidth usage tab and it says that around 32 megabytes were used in the
last few minutes, so it is nothing to do with connecting to the internet.

This issue is also nothing to do with specific accounts, as after trying to sign in on a different account i found that it still did not work. One interesting thing to note is that after trying to restart my console, i am signed in for a very short amount
of time (about 6 seconds) before it logs me out, saying "Sorry trey, Sign in with this controller". So, i decided to go check if my controller that is usually assigned to my account, AceTrizo, was still connected. In an attempt to log in like that, and
it turns out that my controller had also disconnected from my account as well.

Another issue, trying to log in offline does not work either, when trying to do this it simply comes up with a message that i must be online to sign in. starting the console in offline mode does not let you connect to your account either.

An interesting issue that has also happened was yesterday night, this glitch was happening, however i did manage to sign in after about an hour by spamming the sign in menu, was that both friends pictures and content blocks on the home screen were not showing
up, mixer, community, and other tabs like the store were also not loading properly. When i tried opening up a game and app at the same time, the game disconnected me from its servers immediately, (something that does not usually happen with it). However, i
could still start and run online games just fine, without lag. I was even able to download a 2GB update for crossout at 75 mb/s, so download speed was not impaired at all.

Lastly, about me seeing other threads with the same issues. If you look around on the threads, you can see multiple people posting today with the same issues that i've been having with signing in or downloading apps, notably all of them are on an Xbox one
S when they identify their consoles, so i highly doubt that its due to a hardware or problem with the consoles themselves, but probably due to a bad update or something along those lines. If anyone reading this has also had the same issues that i described
above, please leave a comment or something so this post can get more traction with support.

(also, i'm considering doing a soft-factory reset, would you guys think that it would help at all with my problems? i really don't want to do it just for the hassle of re downloading all of the accounts i have on here, but i'll do it if i have to.)
