Can't sign in.

i tried to get on the xbox app to day and it said to sign in, so i tried to but the window to sign in popped up then immediately closed. it didnt sign me in at all. under the button to sign in it says "We can't sign you in right
now. try again later (0x409) 0x80070422". i tried again about 20 mins later and it did the same thing. when i clicked "Need help?" it didnt do anything

I believe the problem is that since you signed up on a PC, trying to sign up again on your Xbox fails because your trying to sign up using the same e-mail you already are using. Try "Recovering your Gamertag" to your console using your e-mail address and

The said error message occurs if there's an issue with connecting to the Xbox server using the Xbox app on your computer. To resolve this issue, I suggest that you perform the following solutions below:

Solution 1: Run the Windows app troubleshooter to scan and repair your app. You may refer to this

Solution 2: Reset the Xbox app.

1. Press the Windows key, and then select the gear icon to access Settings.
2. Select Apps.
3. Under Apps & features, locate the Xbox app.
4. Click the Xbox app, and then click Advanced options.
5. Click Reset.
6. Restart your computer to save the changes made on your computer.

Solution 3: Disable Manual Proxy setup.

Press the Windows key, and then select the gear icon to access Settings.

Select Network & Internet.

Go to Proxy tab.

Switch off Manual proxy setup.

Solution 4: Reload your computer in Normal Startup.

Press the Windows + R keys to open the Run window.

Enter MSCONFIG, then click OK.

On the General tab, click the Normal Startup, and then click
OK.

When you're prompted to restart your computer, click Restart.

i did do this, i spent about 1-2 hours. nothing seemed to do anything. i started to dig around thinking that if i tried to reinstall windows 10 that would fix it. in the settings i found and went to gaming then i went to xbox networking, i checked connectivity
and everything looked fine. other than the NAT type and server connectivity. NAT type stated "teredo is unable to qualify". Server just said "blocked". i dont know how much this could help, but it is something.
