Can't Sign in with my old account info

Hello,

I can't get in to my old account with the proper info (email and password) because it says that the email doesn't exist and I know the info by heart so I don't know how to get back into the account. I tried account recovery but it also says that email doesn't exist to. ( To clarify, account is old and I only use the account email for my xbox. I don't use it for anything else.)

Hello, when it says that your account is old did not log in long ago, and there were also no items purchased in the account?

I've only ever had the one account I used an old email to start my account originally, but I have since updated it and used my updated info to sign in on two previous consoles. But since signing in on my new console, I can't find any mention or history of my gamertag on my Xbox account anywhere

I'm not sure how to change my e-mail in there though. I've changed it in billing info and contact info... but to sign into my XBL account I still have to sign in with my old e-mail address.

So, unfortunately, there's no way to regain access to your account just by using the gamertag. :/ You would need your email ID, or the phone number associated with that account to do so.
