Can't sign in with my Game Pass account on the XBOX app

The accounts are on the same computer. I have it set up so that one xbox account has game pass and is signed into the store and the other is my personal account that i sign into games with. It does not matter if i use the account with game pass to sign into
the apps.

How can I tell apps to be available for all accounts? I also have games that do work but it is very few.

Mine keeps having this issue dispite logging into my account, signed up for game pass and I can't watch a game without the app crashing or saying video isn't available at this time

I read that you already found a solution, but are not 100% pleased with it.

I haven't tried it with the Game Pass app yet, but this works with "Play Anywhere" games your brother "owns" through the "regular" Xbox Game Pass or by buying the specific game.

So I can't guarantee this works for Game Pass on PC, but it's worth a try.

First of all, sign in with your account on
https://account.microsoft.com/family and add your brother's account to your family (or make sure your parents have added you both to their family if you both are still not of legal adult age).

Then sign in with your account on your PC normally. Start the Windows 10 Store app, and in the upper right corner, click on your account picture and sign out. Sign in your brother's account, and have him download the game(s) that are available in the store.

Try if the same method works for the Xbox Game Pass App.

Hello and thank you for your answer, your solution works! I logged in the Microsoft Store with my brother's account and the account the Xbox (beta) App uses is my brother's; I misunderstood it, it is not the PC account that the Xbox (beta) app uses but the
Microsoft Store one. I should be able to play on my own PC account now.

The Xbox App for PC on Windows 10 should automatically have the Ultimate subscription flow in when my kids sign in but that is not the case. My kids are able to receive the membership on the console through my account and they can play the games through
the pass which works fine no complaints. I need to know when will this Game pass subscription sharing will work with Xbox app for PC.

On the PC it's a bit awkward.

First of all, you'll have to make sure yourkids s added to your Microsoft family. Sign in with your account on https://account.microsoft.com/family. There add your kids is
Microsoft Account if not already done so.

Now the complicated part on getting the Game Pass Games on your kid's PC:

Your kids has to add your Microsoft Account as a second user to their PC.

Then with your kids SIGNED IN, have themr go to the Windows Store or Xbox Game Pass App.

If they signed in to these apps, to sign out temporarily from these apps, and you will have to sign in with your account.

You ONLY sign into the APPS! You do NOT sign out your kids from their logged in account on the PC!

Then with your account signed in on the store app or the Xbox Game Pass app, your kids can then download and install the PC games.

Good question. I'm afraid home Xbox sharing is mainly designed for Xbox consoles. Basically, in order to share games to a different account on the console, the account where the game pass was purchased needs to be signed in all the time on the Microsoft store app. It can't be signed in and play at the same time.
