Can't sign in to xbox live on the xbox one

I can't sign in to my profile on the xbox one while online. If offline the profile works fine and on the xbox 360 the profile signs in as normal. On the One if i try to sign in, it attempts to load something but then flips out and kicks me back to the start
(select which profile to sign in with) sometimes with an error code and sometimes without. I've tried everything to get it to work and nothing has worked.

360 and One on same gold account

If I sign in to Xbox Live on my Xbox One, will I also be able to sign in on the same account on my 360 at the same time? Say someone is using the Xbox One in the living room and I'm playing my 360 in my bedroom. Will I be able to use the same account?


WHITTEN: Yes this works! You'll be able to be signed on with the same gamertag on both an Xbox 360 and an Xbox One console at the same time. However, like today, you can only be signed into one Xbox 360 and one Xbox One at a time

signs me in the signs me straight out

I turn on my Xbox one and it signs me in saying hi then it signs me out saying bye. I also can't connect to Xbox live

 

First thing to try would be log out of your profile and log back in. That resolves this issue most of the time.

 

This issue has been resolved now. After contacting support i had to remove my profile from the console and reset the mac address.
