Can't sign in to Xbox for PC

On version 2005.1001.22.0, it seems like I cannot sign in or download games. When I try to click any of the sign in buttons nothing happens. When I try to download games I am always met with the same error code - 0x80080005. Occasionally a grey window (the
same size as the old sign-in window...) pops up over the app before disappearing. Looking in settings, it says I am signed into my Microsoft account but my "gaming account", whatever that is it has another non-working sign in button. I can however launch already
installed games.

Anyone got any solutions? I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the app to no avail.

That helped thank you, had to set the time to be automatic. Not sure why that would matter though.

I have already done this. Whenever i look up the code nothing pops up

This is a error code, You can try quitting the app and give it one last try. Hope this helps. Also try turning off the pc and turn it back on. Wish everything goes well.

There is no solution it's exactly as you been told

Gamepass cannot be shared on pc period HOWEVER JESSIE iS incorrect in a way

Yes it can't be shared however to download the game he must sign into the profile with gamepass and then download the game when done he MUST sign into his account on the xbox app not the PC

SO DONOT sign out of the pc just the xbox app

Then sign in as himself on the zbox app
