Can't sign in to xbox app or GFWL

I am unable to sign into either of these on windows 10. GFWL give me an error saying the windows live id or password is invalid. But i am entering the right info. The xbox app just says can't sign in and some error code i don't remember. I did have to change
security info on my microsoft account a few days ago and it has the 30 day wait period going. Did that lock me out of my xbox app and GFWL for the 30 days also? I know i'm using the correct login info because i can login to xbox live and microsoft accounts
just not xbox app on windows 10 and GFWL.

Can't Sign in to Xbox App

Hello,

I bought State of Decay 2 and went to install it but it keeps on coming up with the following error code: 0xc00d11cd (0xc101000c)

It will not let me sign in and therefore I cannot install and play my game.

I have looked online and tried several solutions to no resolve, any help & advice is appreciated.

Is it possible to link my Games for Windows Profile to my Xbox offline account?

No, you can't link or merge two profiles. You can use the Download Profile feature on your console to use the GfWL profile there, but if you want to promote your offline console profile to Xbox Live you'll need to use a different email address. After
that, you'll have two profiles, although you could also sign in to the "Xbox" profile in GfWL.

If you want to use the GfWL profile's current Live ID (email address) to promote your offline console profile, you can download the GfWL profile to your console then change the Live ID there to a different email address, freeing up the previous Live ID.

I've seen a few reports of this from other users experiencing the same behavior and have added your information to aid in the development team's investigation. Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any current workarounds to resolve this immediately.

Hello, I would suggest you reset your account's password and make it something simple for you but out of this world for everyone else. I've noticed when this happens to me it's because I type too fast. If that doesn't work try double checking the email is
the same and if all else is correct rety to sign in after closing the app via task manager and retrying.

The email and password is 100% correct. If i was typing it in wrong i wouldn't be able to sign in here to post about the issue. Microsoft has made is that way as there is only one email and password used to login for all their services. I believe the problem
is either a windows 10 issue or because i had to change my alt email for getting codes sent to me. So i now have a 30 day wait period on my account for the change to take place. Either way i can't get access to the xbox app on windows 10 or GFWL still so i
am unable to install any of my games untill i can login. i hope this is fixed soon.

Got the same problem. Email address and password are spot on. I used them to log onto the xbox web site on edge and it recognises them and signs me in.

It was working fine yesterday evening .

Just upgraded windows 10 and the problem has gone

You can't merge accounts together. I'm not sure where you read that you can't use the same account for both, but you can. You should be able to sign into GFWL with the same information you sign into your Xbox account and vice versa. I use the same account
for both.

GFWL is no longer available for Windows 10, so going forward the Xbox (Beta) app will allow you to connect correctly.

Amber the Xbox app will NOT allow you to play GFWL games. You are still required to use that abomination GFWL to play your bloody games that you're STILL selling.

Thanks I forgot to mention that this runs with Games For Windows Live, From what I understand GFWL was replaced with the XBOX app now called XBOX Counsel Companion. The version of GFWL is 3.5.95.0.

Well no as the key has already been used

They are one time use

But since gfwl is shut down you can't download the game with the old servers

You will have to resign in with your gfwl account on steam

HOWEVER if you haven't signed in awhile it maybe gone as thr limit js 5 years
