    I tried everything from typing a lot of Powershell commands to delete and fix the app to restarting and setting it to automatic in the 'services' tab. I also uninstalled, repaired and restarted it from the 'add or remove programs' tab and did the same thing for the Microsoft store app in the same tab. I am all out of ideas I tried everything I could. I searched for hours on end. Can someone please help all I want is to play State of Decay 2 with my friends

    You can't change a gamertag into a previously owned one but you could sign in to the Windows 10 Xbox app with the old one though.

    Thanks for keeping us in the loop. We'd like to determine if you have any third-party antivirus software enabled on your Windows 10 device. If yes, kindly disable it temporarily and check if the same instance occurs.

    Sorry to hear about the sign in troubles. Do you get any issues over here on Xbox.com when signing in or is it only with the app? Also, if you haven't tried, see if you're able to sign into the Xbox app on a mobile device.
