Can't sign in to Xbox App on Windows 10, error code 0x80070520. No help ANYWHERE!!!

A corrupted file can cause you unable to sign in to your account on the Xbox app. Regarding your concern, can you tell us the troubleshooting steps that you have tried so far? Also, have you checked if your Windows 10 is updated?

In the meantime, I recommend that you remove the Xbox account first from your computer, and then reset the Xbox app by performing the following steps.

Step 1: Remove your Xbox account.

1. Press the Windows key, and then select the gear icon to access Settings.
2. Go to Accounts.
3. Under Email & app accounts tab, find the Xbox account in question, and then select
   Remove.

Steps 2: Reset the Xbox app.

1. From Settings page, go to Apps.
2. Under Apps & features, locate the Xbox app.
3. Click the Xbox app, and then click Advanced options.
4. Click Reset.
5. Restart your computer to save the changes made on your computer.

I believe that my profile on my PC is corrupted. I can't add an email account to 'Email & app account', can't sign into Windows store or the Xbox app (or other apps).

I've tried resetting the windows store and Xbox apps. Also uninstalling and re-installing both apps. Running DISM clean up and repair didn't work.

I'm going to try recreating my user profile next. Hopefully that will work.

You are not alone.

I've experienced this problem a number of times and on those occasions it has miraculously disappeared after a day or so.

But it keeps coming back.

I've been through the loop with support staff but apart from getting one to admit that there was a known problem I've had nothing else.

I can't log into my xbox app which means i can't play my windows 10 games online, i recieve the error code 0x80070520 and if searched on xbox support it says there are no results.

I can sign in with another account so the app might be fine, i can't get it to work and have already tried all the common powershell ideas and resetting the app.

please someone help so i can play games again

it also will not let you connect to any apps, use code,etc, keeps telling you to restart console, BROKEN!!!

After researching online, I came across these troubleshooting steps within our community for the issue that you're describing.

1. Open File Explorer.
   
2. Navigate to the following:

   and Cache folders.
   
4. Try the Xbox app again.
