    Can't sign in to my account on Xbox 360


    Ever since I changed my password recently, I can't sign in to my account on my Xbox 360. It won't accept any passwords I give it, tried my new one so many times. I just deleted my profile off of the console and tried to re-download it, and it still won't
    work... Works fine on Xbox One & Xbox.com though. Any suggestions or anyone had this problem? What can I do?

    360 and One on same gold account

    If I sign in to Xbox Live on my Xbox One, will I also be able to sign in on the same account on my 360 at the same time? Say someone is using the Xbox One in the living room and I'm playing my 360 in my bedroom. Will I be able to use the same account?


    WHITTEN: Yes this works! You'll be able to be signed on with the same gamertag on both an Xbox 360 and an Xbox One console at the same time. However, like today, you can only be signed into one Xbox 360 and one Xbox One at a time

    Very frustrated!

    I can't sign up for Xbox live on my 360. I ha e a Microsoft account, but cannot use that email to sign up on the 360. What do I do?

    Hey CalciumKillah -

    Sorry to hear about the frustration. Does your new password exceed 16 characters in length? If so, I suggest creating a new, shorter, password.

    Also have you tried disabling Two-Step Verification and then attempting to sign into your Xbox 360 console? If that doesn't work, I suggest you contact phone support via the Contact Us page.

    Managed to sort it out thanks to you! The new password was too long, had no idea there was a character limit for the 360. But my profile is re-downloaded, everything is good again. :]

    If so, please power cycle your console and try to sign in back to your account. Take a screenshot of the issue and share it with us.

    The sad thing about these forums is that we are indeed all in the same situation. No one has a clue, but people come here thinking they might get actual support from Microsoft. Meanwhile, Microsoft pretends everything is operational.
