cant sign in to microsoft account to play sea of thieves

i bought sea of thieves on steam.

when i open the game it is already logined in some account i dont know (it might be the account which was hacked few weeks ago)

In the main menu i press sign out and then login. it is already asking me to enter pasword to my hacked microsoft account. then i press login to diferent microsoft account, then it is not asking to enter the other email and password but again asks to enter password to hacked microsoft account.

what to do to login to other microsoft account in sea of thieves???

i tried to recover my hacked acount but microsoft support couldnt do it

Sea of thieves decided to uninstall itself for some reason over night, making it so that I cant play Sea of Thieves today due to the long download time.

If I buy Sea of Thieves on Steam, can I play with the same account as on the xbox app version? That way I wont need to deal with the Xbox app or its version of Sea of Thieves.

That is a good question!

Kindly try to perform the following workarounds:

- Click the Start button from the bottom Left corner of Windows and type Credentials Manager then press Enter.
- Once viewing the Credentials Manager, click the Windows Credentials button.
- Find Entries labelled Xbl_Ticket
- Left click any with 1717113201 in the name and select Remove
- Sign back in to Sea of Thieves

If I may ask, may I know what did they tell you regarding your compromised account?

I'm afraid reaching out to them is the last resort for your hacked Microsoft account.
