Can't sign in to account on xbox one.

I have the solution !

You just have to change your system name in your settings. The xbox restarts and then... IT WORKS !

Same issue for me. This is BS. Can't even play titanfall

 

I worked with an analyst who got me back online and it was simple. They had me remove all cables from the back of the XOne and unplug the power cable from the wall for 3 minutes. After doing this, I was able to restart it and signed right in.

 

It works. I changed console name and now it works.

Why don't they tell you this online?

 

It looks like they fixed it cause i just started it up and signed in no problem

 

I understand perfectly that these sort of problems happen. However the fact that I've disconnected my xbox from the internet and can't even play offline is beyond annoying. It won't even let me create a new offline account. What is this madness?!

 

This is bull $hit...2 days down.. want some kind of credit from microsoft

 

Change your console name, it works. I bought it yesterday and have been really frustrated, but if you change the console name, everything works.

 

I've had this issue as well and so far my only solution to fixing this problem is unplugging the power cord from the power supply and then reconnecting it...I've tried this and everything began to work fine after that...I don't really know if it will prove
to be the same for everyone else but it couldn't hurt to try I guess....as of now this can be the only solution to this problem for all we know

 

Having the same issues. I get "there is a problem with the sign-in service". Funny thing is that i have no problems siging in with my 360. I understand there was a problem with the service yesterday as shown on this website live staatus but now it should
be fine. I am about to return this POS system...

It's working for me. Unplug your xbox one for 10 seconds, plug back in, start it up and sign in. Worked for me this morning.

Over 24 hours and I still get a log in error when trying to connect on Xbox One.

And wow, I'm a bit taken back by this forum. I don't know if it's totally archaic, or super futuristic..... all I know is I've never seen a support forum with such an "all over the place" type of design. I'm thinking though this is intentional to keep your
Xbox Gold member's guessing as to what the X$%! is going on with their Xbox One. Instead of a typical forum set up where users can easily see and track the hottest topics/fixes, we have this monstrosity.
