Can’t sign in or download games

I’ve been having an issue where I can’t enter games. I click a game and it doesn’t do anything for a good 3 minutes until it finally opens. Online games don’t work because I can’t log in, only offline games.

My Xbox also takes about 60 seconds just for me to log on to it. It’s like all of a sudden everything just went slow.

I also can’t update or download games and it takes about 10 minutes until I can open game pass and see what’s in it.

I factory reset my Xbox and it is still doing this, except now I can’t sign in at all! I click the sign in button and a grey spinning circle appears for about 2 minutes and then disappears and it did nothing.

If I use it signed out I can’t update or download games still.

I’ve tried a lot of stuff and my internet is quite good so this shouldn’t be happening, could use some help

Do you use an external hard drive with your console? If yes try to log in/run the games without using the external hard drive.

Turn off the console by pressing the power button until the console turns off, remove the power cord from the console for 1 minute. Remove the external hard drive, turn on the console and try again.

If the problem persists, share your phone's network as a hotspot, connect your console to that network, and try logging in and running the games again.

Thanks, I just reset my wifi and it worked, I have PlayStation as well and it also wouldn’t connect, it’s like my wifi just filled up for some reason so I reset it and both my PlayStation and Xbox worked!

I’ve tried going to the enforcement page but can’t sign in to see why I was banned. Also has all my money I paid for digital downloads been stolen? Because if I can’t sign in then I can’t use the content that I paid for. In my book that’s theft no matter
how you split it.

If you purchased the games digitally you can then download them to the all digital console as long as you’re signed in to the same profile that purchased them. Just remember you can’t be signed in on multiple consoles under one account.

Ok I’m now signed in as the same profile as the console….but tried to download the game onto the console from the app but still has the button that I can’t select and not active…so sorry about this
