Can't sign in on xbox one while playing an xbox 360 hane

Trying to play a backward compatibility game and when I try and start the single player (or multiplayer) it says "ALERT You are not signed in. You will need to sign in to save your progress and to be awarded Achievements. Do you want to sign in now?" then
I try and sign in and it says "Sorry, this profile can't be connect to Xbox Live on this console. To fix it, download it again." And I've done this like a dozen times and still can't sign in. What to do?

360 and One on same gold account

If I sign in to Xbox Live on my Xbox One, will I also be able to sign in on the same account on my 360 at the same time? Say someone is using the Xbox One in the living room and I'm playing my 360 in my bedroom. Will I be able to use the same account?

WHITTEN: Yes this works! You'll be able to be signed on with the same gamertag on both an Xbox 360 and an Xbox One console at the same time. However, like today, you can only be signed into one Xbox 360 and one Xbox One at a time

Xbox One DVR question

I have my Xbox 360 running through my Xbox one and was wondering if its possible to record while playing xbox 360 games? I tried it earlier today and got some error message but I don't really see why I can't record what is on the screen while im on my One.

What about different signing in 360 and One using different GamerTags? We used to be able to do this. 2 gamer tags siedgn into 360 while 1 signed into One. As of 2 months ago we can't sign into the 360 at all - while One is on or off....

Nobody knows yet. Is the idea that you would sign into your 360 just for the chat function, while you play a game on the Xbox One? It could be that the Party system will be cross-console compatible, so you can chat with Xbox 360 gamers even though you can't
join their games. Such a thing should be possible; it's all in the software.

You can be signed in on the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One simultaneously, you just can't be signed into the same generation of console at the same time (an Xbox 360 with another Xbox 360 or an Xbox One with another Xbox One).
