Can't sign in on xbox one after some kind of update this morning

. Talked with a tech who had me delete my user and tried to get it back on but it won't let me sign in or download it. I did sign up for preview updates but do no if I should have now.

Update last night!!!

After updating I can't even sign in, spent an hour on the phone to Microsoft this morning who suggested I factory reset the console losing all my saves and game data . Only other option is that they will send the Xbox one an update to "try" and fix it .
3 days of a bricked console is ridiculous when we are paying for Xbox live . Very bad PR for Xbox one

 

Why is the lag getting worse in this game?

I was playing early this morning with no issues. They I was forced to download the new update for xbox one. After everything was completed, the ping on the data centers were 108 this was early this morning between 0500hrs CST to 0600hrs CST. The sad thing
is this game is only for online and can't even play it because of the lag.

 

i signed up and got the update today. cant chat with friends who dont have it...hope that isn't the case going forward (until March 11th) when everybody gets the update. Hope they figure a way to get you logged back in

 

I had the same problem. I signed up to get early updates and today Xbox One updated. Then once I tried to sign in nothing would happen. Microsoft if you're reading this please help

 

i cant chat with friends at all, this sucks , i didnt sign up to get this . really annoying man

 

i have the same problem cant chat with friends they need to fix it or let you unregister from beta no point in testing it out if you can't talk to friends

 

i got around the issue by using skype, but again, impossible to test out the new MP features if I can't get anyone in a chat/party.

 

Same problem as RT Fif... hope Microsoft fixes this pronto!! Been trying to sign in for the last 2hrs...

I can't sign in either and my nat type has gone strict since the first update please help I need to play!!!

 

Try "hard" rebooting your console by holding your finger over the xbox power sensor on the console until it completely shuts down and then turn it back on. I had the login problem too but that took care of it for me.

 

Same here - can no longer sign into Xbox Live on Xbox One since signing up for the early update. Not a good start to this preview system; thinking registering was a bad idea.

 

Followed GL of 2814 advice and did the "hard" reboot & it's fixed the sign in issue for me as well.

 

Had the same issue. Just tried to sign in and couldnt no matter what method...via Kinect or using the controller. The 1st thing that came to mind was a hard reboot, and it worked. I then jumped on here to see if others were experiencing the same thing. Honestly
if some of you guys are easily frustrated, maybe you should contact MS and ask to be removed from the Beta. I knew going in with this beta that there would be issues, which is why it isnt a complete roll out. It will perhaps get worse during the beta testing
but hardware isnt at risk. Just my .02 (Yes I am also Beta testing)
