Can't sign in on some Microsoft Games

I have been playing the Microsoft Solitaire Collection for about a year. I really enjoy it, and the achievements motivated me to keep playing. Earlier today, I decided to install some of the other "default" games (if that makes sense). I installed
Microsoft Jigsaw, Microsoft Sudoku, Microsoft Minesweeper and
Microsoft Treasure Hunt. I was ready to try them out, but in all four games, I couldn't connect to my Xbox account.

I made sure to allow the app to make changes, and when I was directed to both the website and the Console Companion, I was already signed in. The odd thing is that I am still signed in for the Solitaire Collection, but not in the four games. I
have restarted and uninstalled these games multiple times. The only differences I could tell between the former and the latter are that:

• The splash screen for the Solitaire Collection says "Microsoft Casual Games", while the 4 games have the "Microsoft Studios" and "Arkadium" on the top right corner
• The account button in the 4 games looks the same while the Solitaire Collection has a distinct one
  
  

This leads me to believe that it could have something to do with Arkadium, but I cannot confirm.

While I can still play these games, it's a medium-sized bummer that I cannot earn achievements or save my progress. I almost don't feel like playing them at all.
