Can't sign in and when I do it says it connects to xbox live and connection is fine but i ...

I need help. My Xbox has not been letting me sign in for a week I've hard reset it and when it finally does sign in the menu it connects to xbox live, but when I try to click on something it won't load and i can't play any games. I've tried calling
support, but I've just sat waiting for over half an hour when the average time was 15 minutes. I still didn't get anyone to help though.

Why do I have to always test my Xbox live connection first when I want to connect to Xbox live. It won't automatically sign me in anymore it says it can't connect. But when I run an Xbox live test it connects fine and then I can sign in no problem. This
happens every single time I go to sign into Xbox now.

 

I can connect to XBL but as soon as i sign it, it says i can't connect.

Well when i start my XBOX up and don't sign in. I do a test connection, and it says im connected.



As soon as i sign in to my account, it says can't connect to XBOX live. I then go back and do a Test Connection, and it signs me out (which i know it signs you out everytime it does a test connection) but says my XBOX live is connected.





Help?

Sorry to hear about the issues, let's start with clearing Blu-Ray persistent storage and following up with a full power cycle.

To clear persistent storage, follow these steps:

• Press the menu button on your Xbox One controller and select 'Settings'.
• In the Settings menu, select Disc & Blu-ray settings.
• From here, select Persistent storage and clear it.

Next let's do a full power cycle:

• Press and hold the power button on the Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
• Once the unit is powered off, unplug the power cable from the Xbox One and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  
• Plug the power back into the unit and power the console on.

Ok, so I've gotten in contact with xbox live support. We tried everything from hard resetting to factory reset. Even after factory reset I'm having trouble with live. I still have trouble signing in, updating (I had to do an offline update for my xbox) installing
games, and even opening apps. I still can't see whose on my friends list. I don't understand what happened it was working fine last week

Are you using a Wired or Wireless Connection? If its wireless is this a shared connection? Make sure you have the correct Password for your router/modem. If you are wired, id suggest contacting your internet service provider, because there may be an issue
with your connection.
