    Can't shut down the auto-renewal.


    Whenever I try to remove my auto-renewal I get the Runtime error so that I can't proceed... This account which I don't use is stealing money from me and I can't make it stop.

    I have tried clearing cache and all that but it just won't work.

    Please help!

    I can't renew my xbox live. I haven't payed it. and I'm trying to renew it. its in a renew after 1 month setting and i can't turn off auto renewal now becuase of a unpayed balance. I'm tryna get 3 months right now. so it won't randomly shut down my xbox
    live access.

    Your account wont go away. Just remember your account email and password details.

    Now, auto-renewal being left on isn't good, cause it will keep charging you. Simply blocking access from the card's end will lock out the account.

    If you can't shut off auto-renewal yourself, call support and have them do it from their end.

    The best thing to do is contact support to End your membership immediately To cancel your membership immediately, contact
    Xbox Support. If you cancel immediately, you lose access to the service for the remainder of your paid subscription period.

    If you do not want to End your membership immediately then just ask them to Turn off auto-renewal for you. With automatic renewal turned off, your membership will expire at the end of its term.

    Sometime these runtime errors happen just because. Wait a while and try again and see if it continues to happen. Also, try clearing browser history and such, that sometimes may help.

    I don't think emailing is an option, it is best to contact them by Phone, since they will also aks you a few things to verify the account

    Just FYI, entering in a prepaid code will not shut off the auto-renew. It will delay it til the code is used, but not shut it off. Shutting off the auto renew via xbox.com or contacting phone/chat support is the way to go.

    Issues with shutting off auto renewal has been a bane to many.

    If you can't seem to shut it off on your end, or you are unsure, call support and have them check it at their end.

    Actually, I just noticed that looking at your profile on the Xbox forums it doesn't show that you have a gold membership, but when you go to your Xbox gamercard it shows you have a gold membership.

    If you just purchased the membership it may take sometime to update and that's normal, but if you'd like to cancel the automatic renewal right away follow Smwutches advice and contact support since you can't see the cancel auto-payment on your account on Xbox.com
