Can’t share ID anymore.

I shared ID with my buddy-we did okay-my pal set my ID as Home on his Xbox One also I set his ID as Home on mine.

Until 4 month ago - My fault, I did change “home” to my console so my friend lose my home on his Xbox One

and never see any games I brought anymore but I still have my friend sharing and all privileges.

Q: When my friend can set my ID as home on his console again?

Please help. (He keep saying it’s okay but I’m not.)

Sharing not working

When I go to share an edited collage of game clips to one drive (because YouTube doesn’t have an “upload” button anymore) it gives the message “Something went wrong, sorry, we can’t share this right now. Try again in awhile.” I was just wondering what is
causing this. Thanks

 

Support problem from Xbox one

My console dont even turn on anymore...

i tried to send my console to repair, but when i type my social security number (which is from Brazil)

they say its "Id format is invalid." so i can’t go further in the repair process..

 

Hey there Dotty096. What message is your friend getting when trying to set their home console with your profile? Are you able to play your games and your friends game?

It may need to have a home console reset for them to be able to set the home console for your profile on their console, in which case you would need to contact phone or chat support for a home console reset on your profile.

I don't know how much assistance your issue will receive because technically "sharing" your gamer tag is against the Terms of Service on Xbox Live :

"Do not lend, transfer, sell, or otherwise provide access to your account."

 

Your not really supposed to be sharing your tag. If you go and sign in at a buddies house that's one thing but letting them use your personal info when your not around wouldn't be ideal. You never know what could happen. It's best just to keep all of your
personal info safe and never share it.

 

You're probably going to be suspended or banned for sharing your id. Just a heads up.

 

You will not be suspended or banned for doing this as it is a supported feature.

You can set your home console on a friends console to avail of game sharing. This is when person 1 sets their home console on console 2, and person 2 sets their home console on console 1.

When doing this, the password for the account password doesn't need to be remembered, which is a great way of preventing the other person from using your account without permission.

This is not recommended unless you know and trust he other person.
