    Can't Share Clips To One Drive Without Editting First


    This started after the update. When I go to my game DVR and try to share the clip to OneDrive it fails. It says something went wrong and to try again later.

    Now if I open the clip in Upload Studio and Upload it from there it works fine.

    Any suggestions?

    Well this is pretty good news, especially considering the PS4 can only share recorded video to Facebook. Prepare for a ridiculous amount of videos in the first 72 hours of the Xbox One. Leave your thoughts below!

    If you visit Upload Studio you should be able to select 'Share' and then 'OneDrive'. If you do this before editing the clip do you get the same error message? I was able to test this method and haven't found any issues from my account. Let us know how it

    However prior to the recent update I could upload from the Manage All Clips area. I didn't have to open up each clip for Editting in order to upload it.

    The option is still there it just doesn't work.

    Hm. That's odd.

    What happens if you remove your Xbox Live profile, power cycle your Xbox One (hold down power button 8-10 seconds), and then add your profile back? Is there any change with that upload Share option?

    You can only share clips that have been saved/edited. If you simply record a clip, but do neither, than you can't share it. ;)

    I am experiencing the same problem. I have 15 clips that are saved, and the rest that aren't and can't be saved. I too was only able to save when I had a gold membership. I don't understand why I can't save the clips to my own Xbox's hard drive without a
    membership.

    I'd also like to be able to edit and upload clips to my computer without a gold membership, but obviously we need to take everything one step at a time with Microsoft.
