Can't set Xbox One as Home Xbox

I was having an issue with one of my games not updating (Minecraft wouldn't update to a newer version) so I tried resetting the Alternate MAC address, restarting the console, hard restarting the console by pressing the power button for 8 seconds and uplugging the console's power for at least 15 minutes, and ultimately factory resetting the console.

The problem was not only not fixed, but now I can't assign the console as the home Xbox for any of the profiles that were previously assigned. I select the checkbox, it loads for a while, and then the checkbox remains unchecked.

I've tried all the above steps for the previous game-not-updating issue for this home Xbox issue again, multiple times, to no avail.

you can't set the 3 xbox as home xbox, only one of them, when you set the second as home xbox, the other loses that setting

You and tons of other people, including me, are reporting this issue on this forum.

It's not you, it's MS. They haven't made an official announcement, but that's what is being reported.

You can try all the reset steps, but it's not going to fix the problem.
MS needs to fix it on their side.

you have 5 change in a year starting the first time you set you're home console if you used all you need to wait finish the year or try contact support.
