Can't set the Location to Germany for setup?

Just got my wife the Xbox One, and we live in germany, but we can't set the Location for it since it is not listed, any way around this ?

Language setting

I leave at Germany, and downloaded Fallout 3 using GamePass code that cames with my xbox. When the game was installed, "Language" and "Language Region" were set to English. "Location" was set to Germany. The game runs in Germany, but I want to play in
English. Even changing the "Location" to USA, the game is stucked in Germany. Seems like "games from Germany Game Pass are in Germany and can't change". If I can't play a game in English, German's gamepass is a useless service to me. Good to see this testing
the service before putting good money on it.

Live in Germany, but cannot set Xbox One language to English

Hi,

I live in Germany, but I cannot seem to set my Xbox one settings to English. If I change the language to English, the Germany is no longer an option for location. Germany seems to be only available in German language. How can I set my xbox to English despite
my location, and how can I download games in English?

If you complete the Initial Setup in english, are you able to Change the Location and Language to German after that? (Settings->All Settings->System->Language & Location)

If the console requires a repair then you may have to send it back to Germany for this.

As for the console itself you will have no issues with purchasing games or using Xbox Live as you will be asked to set your language and location during the initial setup.

The most common issue is when your console is not set to the land you live.

So set locate to your region (if you are in usa - usa, germany to germany and so on)

There seems to be an issue with this but I have found a way round it. Change your location (not region) to Germany.

setting > system > language and location. The 3rd option is location, select Germany and restart.

Go to 'My games & Apps' and it should be there in 'ready to install'

You can use an Xbox One from the UK, but you should also be able to buy one in Germany without any issues since the console and all of the games are totally region free.

During the initial setup, set your language to English and your location to wherever you would prefer. It will use the store from whichever location you specify.
