Can't sent messages to my friends

You can actually send messages via chat, but you can't talk with your voice. (I've sent messages to my friends using my Xbox One to their 360 consoles.)

'glad' to see it's not just me then. I can recieve messages from people but can't reply. Just sent a message to a friend it seemed like it got sent but i didn't see any confirmation.

I'm having the same problem as you are.

How many of the people on your friends lists messages can't you read ?

For me it's just one.

We both get the message pop up notification, but when either us clicks on the message to read it, the inbox is empty.

We can't read the messages that we sent or the messages that we recieved.

I tried messaging other people on my friends list and there's no problems.

Can't access the players profile unless he is in my recent players, on a "friends" friends list, or has sent me a message. In this case he isn't on either and he has not sent me any messages. How do I block him then?

Note: a 1-800-4-MY-XBOX employee told me to post on the forums. He told me what to say and that I needed to give the name of the offender to the Xbox Live Enforcement Team via forums.

I'm having the same problem a friend of mine told me to delete my XBL profile on my HDD but now i can't even download my profile i just get sent packing to the dashboard with an error message
