Cant Send Voice Message?

As of this moment there seems to be no possible way to do so.

I was very disappointed with this and the screenshot thing when I found out. They've fixed screenshots, so hopefully this will fixed soon. Honestly, seems quite silly that we didn't have either one from the start.

 

Don't want to get messages from kids screaming

 

Voice to text with the Kinect should be a nobrainer or at least a text message system that predicts the words I'm trying to formulate. Its kind of sad the the text message system I use on my phone in GTA is more advanced than the one on my console lol.

 

Seriously people... stop whining about 'I don't want messages from kids screaming and yelling insults and blah... blah'. If they're *** enough to do that, they're *** enough to send a text message.

Nobody is going to force anyone to listen to a VM any more than they'd force you to read a text... not to mention you can just block someone who does send one.

Bad excuse is bad excuse, full stop.

 

Xbox 1 is for kids too not just old people. Me and my friends and randoms exchange voice messages. Xbox 360 has a variety of ways to send messages over xbl. Xbox 1 only texts. We'll keep whining until microsoft adds it. There are two posts on the official
feedback site which has over 3k+ votes for it. They dont need a majority of everyone on xbl to pass a decision.

Voice Messages need to happen. I am completely stunned that to this day, there are no VM. And the screaming kids argument is ridiculous. It is simple, do not listen to a VM that some random person sends to you.

 

I'll just say it again. Lack of voice messages on the Xbox One is a slap in the face. The end.

 

Agreed. Should have voice messaging. No reason other than $$$ not to. With that being said it is more shocking that we literally have the most archaic text messaging system available. Voice to text with the Kinect should have been a launch feature. Like
I said before, my phone in GTA has a better text messaging interface than the console. Really shocking.

 

While Smartglass is nice to help write a message connected to Xbox One. It is not a viable alternative to voice messages.
