    Can't Send or Receive Friend Requests


    The other day I deleted one of my friends and tried adding him back,but when I sent the requests it says that it is pending on my screen and on his screen he never received the request. So, he tried sending me a request from his account and again, it says
    its pending on his screen, but I never receive the request on my account. So I tried sending the friend request on xbox.com and again it wouldn't go through.

    I thought it may have been a problem with mine and his account so I deleted another one of my friends to try and add him back, but had the same problem. Now I have two friends that I can't add back. I spent two hours talking with xbox support the other day,
    but nothing they told me to try worked. Is there any solution to this problem?

    p.s.- its not the same error message that a lot of people are posting about it saying "your friends list is full" the friend request simply just doesn't go through

    Alright well minutes after posting this I finally got a friend request that my friend sent so I'm not sure what is going on.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    If this is happening with multiple devices the issue can be with your account itself. Can you please sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings and make sure that your setting "You can add friends" is set to "allow"?

    If you go through the standard Xbox One console process of adding people to the game or starting a party and inviting your party to the game do you get the same errors?

    Could you share photos of any errors you are seeing?

    What is your current NAT type and is the console wired or wireless?

    I do not get the same errors when adding people to the game or starting a party and inviting others to my party.

    This is what the message looks like. Note: It isn't mine, but its exactly identical to the error I am receiving when playing Xbox 360 games.

    Our NAT type is open and the Xbox One is connected via wireless.
    To be sure we understand, you do not get errors when using the Xbox One console party system and you are able to add people to the game in that fashion?

    If that is the case this is working as intended and when playing back compat games you always want to use the Xbox One console systems.

    If this is not the case could you walk us through exactly what you are trying to do and how?
