    I can't send or receive messages on xb1 or smartglass but can on my 360 tried everything from hard resetting to resetting whole console but still nothing find it very frustrating as I use messages a lot for Fifa pro clubs etc

    Xbox app can't send or receive messages

    I signed out and back in several times on different occasions and it is always the same. I set up a dummy account, befriended it both ways, and got the same errors on both of them The older xbox smartglass app, with the same account and same system, works
    fine even at the same time, but does not have as many features as the new one.

    Have had the same issue for a couple of months on XBox One. No problem on 360. But no notifications either. Any help please?

    Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this.

    Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

    You will need to contact support directly for information on that reference number. No one in the forums has access to that. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us

    If that doesn't work please post back and give us more information on exactly what is happening.

    Messages at chats DOESN'T delete it instantly, or if delete it the next time i log in re-appeared.

    And now the problem just ESCALATED.

    Now i can't even send or receive any message at all.
