Can't send messages via xbox.com

Hi everyone. For some reason I no longer can send messages via xbox.com. So basically I'm locked out of any LFG services.

My account is perfectly fine, all security checks passed, no limits on messages reached (I don't send too many anyway), so what the **** is going on?

^^ Yea, that's what I eventually did, just used Smartglass.

I'm not sure if this is the correct location to post this question, but figured I'd ask here. So, I wanted to send a message to a fellow poster who is my friend on the One. I click on "Friends", but the option to send a message is not there like it was
previously. I click on his profile, select "Send Message", but it doesn't fill his name in the "To" portion, and when I click the "+" sign, he isn't listed because we're not friends on the 360. I can't figure out how I can actually send him a message. Anyone
know how? What am I doing wrong?

hello friend, I am also facing that kind of problem but in my case I can't send message neither from Microsoft website not from my Xbox console. I contacted with Xbox support team many times but they couldn't find a solution for me. It been more than 6 months
since this issue has started. Hopefully you will not suffer as me.

And for Microsoft team THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!

I had this happen too. I wanted to send a message to someone here so I clicked on their name. Next I click send message on their profile, but it was blank. You have to manually type their gamertag in. It sucks but it works.

This post will show up late because I'm about to click "reply". For some reason when I post here from a work computer my posts need to get approved but everywhere else it is fine.

Yeah there's a problem with sending LIVE messages on XBox.com

If the friend is a 360 friend added AFTER you cracked 100 friends you simply can't message them unless you're replying to one of their messages.

Maybe it's the same for anyone added after you cracked 100 friends but it's a bit annoying.

You may have to type out his gamertag manually. Or the easier option may be to bring up his profile on smartglass and message him from there.
