    Let me preface that I have never had enforcement actions made on my account and enforcement.xbox.com says I have an absolutely perfect record, as well as reputation. So if you have something to say along the lines of "You're banned for talking trash!!!!"
    just save it to yourself, it's not the case.

    So about 3 months ago, I re-downloaded my profile onto a new console and it seems I can't send messages. I can send messages through the app and through the website, just not on the console.

    The message I receive states to go to account.live.com/reputationcheck and after verifying, it seems to just take me to my account settings. No further instructions.

    I've talked to about 15 different service reps, and it seems they are absolutely useless in fixing this matter. (Big surprise.)

    I've seen similar threads, and it seems Xbox Support is ignoring or avoiding the problem entirely, and seems to be refusing to admit something is wrong here, like they seem to do with the constant guide crashes, "games taking too long to start" and general
    non-sense that seems to pile after each update.

    Did you not read my post and see the exact link featured in that link you gave me?

    Yes I've tried it, it seems to just redirect you to Microsoft's account summary page.

    I'm sorry to see the situation you're in, however being aggressive towards our volunteer Moderators (or any community member) is not tolerated here. We're happy to help you out, but we ask that you remain civil and not resort to insults of people's intelligence.
    Please refer to the Forum Guidelines at the bottom of my post to understand the expectations we have of users here on our Support forums. The link you provided is easily missed in your post as it's not hyperlinked. What that specific link does is send a ping
    to a phone number to prove you're a real human; it seems that you've gone through that a few times.

    The situation you're describing sounds more like a console issue rather than an account issue. That Skype reputation link is really for users that cannot access their messages on all platforms, which is clearly not the case for you. What I would need to
    know is the exact error you receive when you attempt to send a message. This can be in either a text reply here or an image of your screen when you get the error. From there, we'll be able to focus on any troubleshooting steps that might not have been done
    yet, and get it sorted out together. Can't send messages, tried everything. :)

    Go to
    Sign in to your Microsoft account
    look under "Security info helps keep your account secure" and make sure they have a phone and email listed.

    If any are missing please add them. If Any ARE listed delete and re-add them. And Save Changes.

    Then Restart Console Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide. Select Settings. > Select Restart console. > Select
    Yes to confirm.

    Once the Console Has restarted you should be able to send messages.
