    Can't Send Messages, Please Help.


    I tried sending messages to people but I can't send messages to anyone I am not banned/suspended and my account is verified. I have tried sending a message on the app and that hasn't worked either, I just got my xbox on Christmas so I don't know what to
    do.

    Tried to message someone on xbox and said I couldn't (picture to show what it actually says). I have a good rep.

    Can't Send Messages, Please Help.

    Make sure your both added as friends first.

    Check your privacy settings allow friends on chat

    Sign in to your Microsoft account

    And make sure your friend has you added as a friend, this is a two way thing, just because you have added him as a friend, if they havent you wont be able to send them messages.

    That doesn't seem to work for me the same message pops up when I try to send a message. The message says, "Messaging isn't working for your account. Go to
    Why Can’t I Send Messages from Xbox One or Xbox App? to get more information and see how you can fix it" I went to that link and followed all those steps and my messaging still isn't working.

    Hey I'm having the same issue TheSoftDebutant. I know it's been months since you last posted but if you found a solution can you help me out? I've have not been able to send messages for around 2-4 months, I haven't been enforcement banned, and my reputation
    is fine. I have no idea what's the deal with my messaging.

    Same i cant send messages to anyone, but my standing are at good player and have no recent enforcement action taken upon me, this is probably a bug with xbox live.
