    Can't send messages on Windows 10 Xbox app [Account is in perfect standing]


    I'm not able to send messages on the Windows 10 Xbox app.

    When I try to message other players it tells me I'm not able to send messages.

    If i log in onto the Xbox website and try to send messages from there it tells me I can't send messages because of my past behavior. I then logged onto enforcement.xbox.com to checkmy account standing and it
    tells me I have no bad record and that my account is in perfect standing.

    I have never messaged anyone before, this was my first time trying to.

    What is going on and how can I fix this?

    can't send any messages

    i can't send messages in xbox live. It doesn't work at the xbox one, xbox app on Windows 10 or xbox app on android. Everything else like online gaming and so on works except to send messages to other gamers. Receiving messages works fine.

    Cant send xbox 1 messages. my reputation is in good standing and have tried signing in and out. the issue is account based because i cant send messages on the android app either.

    My age registered is my legal age wich is 18+, so there should be not parental privacy restrictions for me. I think I have solved the issue by logging of the xbox and microsoft store app and log back in. It seems to work fine for now

    I think I figured out a way to solve the issue, I completely logged of the xbox and microsoft store on my pc and logged back in. It seems to work fine for now. It might help you aswell.

    I have the same issue, it comes and goes. Restarting my laptop seems to get it working most times.

    If you have registered an account under 18+ of age, that means you have a child account and only a parental account can change privacy settings.
