If it's a gift card that sends you a code, then you would just give them the code. If it's like an Xbox gift card, those are automatically deposited into your account so you can't gift those.

No. You can't gift Live or points over the service. You can purchase a card in a store and send them the code.

you can't send to yourself as a code, it would just redeem straight to your account, must be sent as a gift to the recipient who will redeem it.

I think this would not be possible as in EU and US and other countries is different VAT. I do not think it will be possible.

On the other hand you can buy Global key from different stores and send it to the person.
