Can't send game invites, party invites, or messages

    Hi everyone.

Currently I can't send messages, party invites, or game invites through xbox live. I have tried hard resetting my xbox and I also tried removing and then re-adding my xbox live account on this xbox. My NAT type is open, and I don't get any errors when
testing my network settings and/or multiplayer connection.

I'm not experiencing any other connection issues. I'm able to connect to my current game (Destiny) and participate in matchmade activities. I can even send game invites from within Destiny, either through the in-game roster or through interacting with
people I encounter in public spaces. I just can't send invites to people that I pull up from say, recent players, or from messages I've received. I also can't reply to those messages (although I can receive them just fine). I know xbox live had some issues
today regarding people being able to sign in, but I don't think this is related because the issues started last night, and the sign-in issues have been marked as resolved.

Anybody have any ideas on how to resolve this?

    Thanks.

    :)

  2. Can't receive Social Notifications But can send out.

I can't receive any Social Notifications, such as messages, party invites, and game invites. I receive the messages but not pop up notifies me that I have received it, when I send out a message or game/Party invite the notification for it being sent is shown......so
the popup function works.....just not when I receive them.....

I'm having the same issues Xbox One and situated in the Netherlands. NAT is open and I have a gigabit connection. I really don't know what the problem is.

Having the same issues within Destiny. Considering giving up for the night, organizing a Raid is nigh-on impossible like this.

    Game or party invitations

I can't send party invites and messages to my xbox friends through my xbox 360. Will the invites for both games and party shutting down this week?

Your message could not be sent.

Same here - playing EA NHL Legacy on Xbox 360 - can't send game invites. Can't send any messages on Xbox 360. Can join another person's party by going to their profile and clicking join party, but can't send or receive a party invite. Even if they are in a joinable game though, the "Join Game" option does not appear on their profile, so without game invites there's no way for us to play a game together. This is awful - any fix soon?

    Xbox Live Service still down!!

I can't send messages but I can see online friends, can't invite to parties or games either.

So this guy called me a [mod removed] and I reported him and he didn’t get banned but when I call him a [mod removed] I get a 4 day ban it’s not fair

If they are unable to send messages, invite to parties or talk in a game.

    Xbox one Message invite/received issue.

Open network settings. Not blocked or banned and couldn't send message to anyone including people I have never messaged. I can still send party invites/game invites and receive them the issue is solely with the messages.
