Can't send friend requests but less than 100 friends

Hey, I'm not really sure which forum this comes under but I can no longer send friend requests from my Xbox 360. On my 360 I have 89 friends and less than 100 combined with Xbox One. I have tried removing friends and sending Xbox 360 requests from my computer
but that doesn't work.

Can someone please help?

I CAN'T SEND NO FRIEND REQUESTS FOR BOUT A WEEK AND A HALF NOW CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WAT I CAN DO TO RESOLVE IT??

When playing Halo: Reach (an Xbox 360 game) on my Xbox One I don't seem to be able to add anyone (especially those who are already a friend on Xbox One) to my Xbox 360 friends list. Whenever I try to add someone in-game (highlight the player in the scoreboard
> view gamer profile > add friend) I always get the error "can't complete this process." The same occurs if I go through my recent players list and my inbox. Whenever I try to message someone through the game I get the same error as well.

Some side notes:

• My friends list is not full
• Connection is good
• No account issues (subscribed to Xbox Live, no disciplinary actions are in effect)
• Able to play multiplayer just fine
• Xbox one friends list and messaging system works just fine
• Adding an Xbox One friend doesn't add them as a Xbox 360 friend, oddly.

Any advice on how to fix this? I hate to keep missing out on custom games with my peers! Thanks in advance.

 

Hello, this is a known bug that many people are experiencing. Troubleshooting doesn't work so there is nothing us gamers can do about it. Unfortunately this problem is not being dealt with by Microsoft. So I do not know when this will be fixed. It is happening
to me as well.

redrapter, I did see in your other thread that you are still receiving an error, so please keep an eye out on that thread for an update from Mister Beep.

 

No this is still not fixed.

 

Raptor, while I appreciate you posting in here, the original poster has not come back to state if he is resolved and we are treating your situations as different. Please continue to update
your thread regarding your issue. As we have stated in there, we have let the appropriate people know that you are still experiencing issues, and you will want to keep an eye there
for any updates. Posting in multiple threads within a day will not resolve you faster; the investigating team will let us know once we have an update, and we will update your thread accordingly.

If ADAMSKIWARD comes back and says that they are still having issues managing their friends, I will be sure to notify the appropriate people that they are also still experiencing this.

Well whether or not his problem has been resolved, people are getting theirs fixed and new cases are popping up everywhere. And I am posting in multiple threads to help people out and give them any information I have discovered. If you think that my sole
purpose is to get this problem fixed for me only then I don't know what to say. And if you think that about every customer then that explains a lot of things.

 

I have asked you a question that needs to be passed along to the investigating team in your thread. Please check it out via the link I have posted above.

Troubleshooting each person on an individual basis is how we work here on the forums. You are currently an active user that we are trying to resolve, and we're attempting to get others resolved as they appear. Even if the issue isn't resolved for you, it
may be resolved for others and we'd like to give them a chance to state that.

 

I don't know if you misread my last post but I agreed that it may be resolved for others. However, this is like a server outage. Some people experience it and some don't and nothing can be done until Microsoft fix it. Troubleshooting does not work and this
problem as a whole has not been resolved. The only thing ADAMSKIWARD can do is update you on whether or not this is still affecting him and how it is affecting him just like I am doing. And also I haven't posted on my thread yet because I still need to experiment
to get accurate answers.

Yes I know otherwise I wouldn't be updating you. And troubleshooting doesn't work for ANYBODY. People have tried and I know the way these bugs work. And the fact that you have to ask everybody to do useless troubleshooting steps that they probably tried
before even coming to support is what get people annoyed at support. People aren't that lazy. When people have problems they don't think oh I can't be bothered and come to Xbox support. They actually do try to sort things out for themselves. Which is why I
am doing all I can to find out more about the problem.

I still can't send redraptor a friend request though.
