Can't select game mode on fortnite

Thanks for the reply. I would then recommend he try uninstalling and reinstalling the game with the hopes that it will default back to the standard controller method.

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this situation. I understand you're having issues where you are unable to control your game Fortnite because its acting as though a mouse is plugged in. Do you have a mouse plugged in? If not could you
plug one in to see if you could navigate into the settings of the game and try to see if you can switch it off of keyboard and mouse mode? Let us know with a reply what you find.

No I dont have a mouse and he has no clue how he switched it over to that mode...

Hi my son has somehow managed to switch his fortnite game to keyboard and mouse (which he doesntd have) and now cannot play the game. He can use xbox controller to get in to the game but then cannot select a mode of play as there is a cursor arrow on screen
and no way of moving it... Anyone know how to get it back to xbox controls please? We've tried the obvious abd uninstalled and reinstalled, hard reset the xbox.... Nothing 🤷

Thank you for your support. We now are having an issue with xbox being in mobile mode on fortnite and not xbox mode. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
