Can't seem to download apps?

    Can't seem to download apps?


    Im new to Xbox One but not to gaming(previous PlayStation owner). All i get in the store is "Get" for the Netflix or youtube app instead of "download". What am i doing wrong. Ive a few games installed via season pass and works fine but wondering if i inadvertently
    turned off something thats preventing apps from downloading/installing. I even added to cart. Added a payment method but got message saying "oops an error occurred, something went wrong give it another try. Well this is the 2nd night at it in 5 days but nothing
    works. Please help anyone? Thanks!

    Would a factory reset work? Its a brand new console. Only 3 weeks or so. Cheers.

    It's unlikely needed being a new console, but have you checked for a possible console update? A soft reset might help as well.

    That's pretty frustrating! I've noticed that there have been other people in the forums reporting the same issue, so there could be something up with the marketplace system itself. Have you tried checking out https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/games-apps/browse ?
    There could be something of help in there! Hope it works out for you!

    I turned off the power the other day i tried all this and unplugged the cable, pressed the power button to drain any power left. Then waited a minute to reconnect power and staryed box again. It didnt help.

    My box is set to auto update.

    Tha ks for the tips but im lost!
