Can't see Minecraft packs in other family accounts

I have purchased a few texture packs for my kids. Having purchased games and everything else through my account, our primary Microsoft Family account, it has allowed me to share games and all downloads so far, but I can't see the texture and skin packs on
my kids login within Minecraft.

Am I doing something wrong?

Should I be buying it through the MS store somewhere instead of the minecraft marketplace?

I can't imagine needing to buy these for each account because they are SOOOO expensive for silly little visual addons that kids get addicted to, buying them for each account would make the total cost for a 4 person household absolutely ridiculous.

Can someone help?

Or is this a deliberate action by Microsoft to claw back the billion paid for minecraft.

Hello. Thank you for posting in the xbox forums. To my understanding dlc bought from the microsoft store is tied to your microsoft account, therefore shareable. However buying from the minecraft marketplace ties it to that profile which makes it only available
to that profile. You’re more or less “unlocking” it for a profile rather than downloading and owning it. Hope this helps.

Idk if it’s something that can be fixed. It’s more unlocked for your profile, like completing a certain quest or challenge in a game to get a skin. Just this way it’s with money. Just like as you would need to complete the challenge again to unlock the skin
on a different profile. Same here just with money unfortunately.

Edit: Forgot to include that i believe this goes for most games that have in-game currency, minecoins, vbucks, etc.

So what you are telling me is that for everyone to play with a crummy candy texture pack I would need to spend close to $40 to get everyone seeing the same thing?

This seems like a SERIOUS RIP OFF for families.
