Can't see messages

I can't see my messages on the Xbox app. And other people are having the same problem. Is there anyway to fix this?

XB1 Smartglass can't see/send messages

2 updates ago my Smartglass decided it didn't want to function as a remote anymore or let me view/send messages.

When I attempt to open messages on my iOS Smartglass App it gets stuck in a loading loop and eventually crashes.

I have tried uninstall/reinstalling the app, hard resetting my phone, signing out/signing back in and for the life of me I cannot figure out why I am only able to view/send messages on my console and nowhere else.

I have also just found out that I can't view messages on browser either (Chrome). I get the message "An error has occurred, please try again later."

To my knowledge and from what I have found I have no communications bans or anything like that.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Can't Send or See Messages in the App

There are still several ongoing issues open at the moment, some of these are to do with game profiles, online purchases and account issues.

The best place to check this would be the status page Xbox Live Service Status | Xbox Live Service Outage

They should at least put out the earlier version that worked until they find a fix. Someone has posted about this problem every day for the last week, and they never get a response.

go to your settings, under account select remove account then select to remove your account. (Make sure you know your email and password before doing this).

Once you have done this open your guild menu, scroll down to the settings gear icon, scroll over, DO NOT click all settings instead scroll down and select restart console. (Its very important to restart your console this way. If you press the power button
on the front of your console, it will only but your Xbox into a sleep mode and not do a full reboot).

Once your console has rebooted go ahead and add back the account to the console and you should see all of those messages.
