Can't see handfull of friends always appear offline when their online.

I've been having this issue for about a year or so now. I've tried to get Xbox Support to help with no success. Basically I can't see a hand handful of my friends when they are online. Not on my Xbox OR on my account in the "Friends" section, not even using
the Xbox app on my phone. My account is set to online and non of my friends are set to "Appear Offline." I can't invite anyone to an active game (because I can't see them online, nor will my Xbox let me even though they are online), but friends can invite
me (friends can see that I am online and what I'm doing).

I don't think this an issue with they way my Xbox is set up because I can't see friends are online both on Xbox or on xbox.com in the "Friends" section. I think is has something to do with my account. I have tried it all hard reseting my Xbox, my router,
I was even on the phone with my friend while he was playing madden. Showed him offline. He could see me that I was running a strike in destiny. Any help to solve this issue would be outstanding. Cause it's frustrating I can't game with a handful of my best
friends because of it.

Some Friends Appearing Offline When Online

Hey all. I have two friends who always appear as offline in my friends list, even when they are online. We can be in party chat, and they will still shoe as being offline. The only time I've noticed a change in status is if we're actively in a party together,
they'll appear as online in my friend list in game (in Destiny). Their profiles don't show me recent activities, none of their achievements are in my feed, and I can't check their friends lists either. I've looked for them in the Destiny game app and in SmartGlass
and still cannot see them. They've both gone through their settings several times and made sure they're not set to offline, and other friends of theirs can see them with no issue (including each other). Is there any answer to this problem? They're two of the
people I play with the most, and it's a big pain trying to coordinate events when I can't ever see that they're on. Any help or insight would be appreciated.

 

Friends "offline" glitch

A certain few of my friends always appear offline. Even when they are in a party talking to me (which would clearly mean that they would be in line) their profile card still appears as offline. I have them as a favorite and I have other friends that appear
online and offline correctly but a few of them just stay stuck as offline.
