    CAN'T SEE CHILD ACCOUNT IN ADULT ACCOUNT


    Okay, I've been at this for two days... I have an adult account that is seeing NONE of my child accounts. I'm trying to setup gold for my son but when he tries to add it, it throws an error that he doesn't have permission to make content purchases, so I'm
    trying to fix this.

    When I log into my Xbox.com I only see my gamertag. How do I get his account on mine so I can alter his content purchasing permissions?

    I'm going in circles with online help and need to fix this, please.

    Hello There, to help further a solution to your issue may I ask if you are attempting this using an Xbox 360 Console or Xbox One Console?

    The reason I ask this is if using an Xbox 360 console, The Xbox 360 does not longer support the Xbox Live Gold Family Pack. So you would need to set up a separate account for your son. To set up gold for his own account, you just need to sign out of your
    account, press create account and follow the steps from here.

    You can change a child account to an adult account, but you can't change an adult account to a child account. In order to manage them, you would have to create new child accounts for them.

    I ask because if it's a child account, you can't change them without an adult account

    Adult accounts cannot be made child accounts. Only child accounts can be converted to adult accounts. Not the other way around.

    The account receiving the error is the actual adult account? or is the child account? child accounts can't change privacy settings.
