Cant save when playing 360 games on Xbox 1

I am sorry to know about the installation issue; However, we have multiple detailed troubleshooting steps for this matter on the official Xbox website to help you take care of it. Before going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned on the link I was referring to, I would like you to go through the following steps to clear your Mac address and then perform a quick power cycle on your console:

Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

After going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 2 to 3 minutes, re-plug them back again, then restart your console to check if it's installing this time.

In case the issue still persists, the next step would be to perform a reset on the console. To do so you will need to follow the steps below to perform a reset on the Xbox :

Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

Sorry for all the confusion. I have about 6 games saved on the old xBox 360.

I had not played for a few months.

I bought an xBox 1.

I unplugged the xBox 360 and hooked up the new system.

Entered all my info, etc. and started playing Assasins Creed Origins on the xBox 1 to make sure all was good.

I then researched to see if I could transfer my old saved games from the 360 to the xBox 1 and play them on the new xBox 1.

I read you needed to be a Gold Member to access the cloud. Then you could upload the xBox 360 saved games to the cloud, then when you load the game on the xBox 1, the saves would work.

So....I unplugged the xBox 1, hooked up the old xBox 360 so I could start playing where I left off, then save to the cloud.

However....when I put the discs in, the xBox 360 did not show any saved games to access, and I was not able to pick up where I left off.

It was as if I was playing for the first time. I went to storage and all the games were there...but they did not list any account with them (my account name).

It was almost as it my account was "altered" when I set up the xBox 1 and now I can not access old info on the 360.

I hope this makes sense.

Its very weird, but on both Xbox 1 and the 360, there is no save cloud registered for Peggle.

but Ive very recently played the game.

Ive deleted all save files for Peggle on 360 and that works there with starting a brand new game, but I also uninstalled Peggle on both 360 and Xbox 1, restarted my Xbox 1 - along with turned off clound syncing on 360- and yet when I reinstalled Peggle the
cloud save is still there

Doesn’t matter with the Xbox 1 version of Peggle, i can still start a brand new game on my 360.

To continue playing a game on Xbox One that you started on Xbox 360, save it to the cloud. When you play the game again here on Xbox One, you’ll pick up where you left off.

If you're already using Cloud Saved Games, you're good to go. If your saved game is stored only on your Xbox 360, do the following before playing on Xbox One:

1. On your Xbox 360 console, go to Settings > System >
   Storage > Cloud Saved Games, and then select
   Enable.
2. Start your game. When you're prompted to select a device for saving your game, choose
   Cloud Saved Games.
3. End your game. Leave your Xbox 360 turned on long enough for it to upload your saved game.
   

To make sure that your saved game is in the cloud:

1. On your Xbox 360 console, go to Settings > System >
   Storage > Cloud Saved Games.
2. Choose the game.

If it says “In sync,” it’s ready. If not, launch it, save your progress, and try again.

When it comes out for Xbox 1, I hope that I will still be able to play my 360 worlds ON my 360 and that we won't be forced to only play our 360 worlds (which I've saved to my 360 slim 250gb console's HDD) on Xbox 1. This is because I only have about 8 friends
who have an Xbox 1 console. And almost 100 on my 360 friends list continue to play on 360. And I still want to play Minecraft on 360 when it comes out on Xbox 1 cuz Xbox 360 is still an amazing gaming console. I'm happy to pay for a Minecraft Xbox 1 Edition.
It shouldn't be as expensive as Forza 5 COD or BF4.
