    Can't save game status


    Hi there,

    I can't save my gameplay status anymore.

    I open the world (Status A) and play for a while (Status B). Then I exit the game. If I start the world again, it starts in Status A.

    I don't get and error message.

    I am playing Windows 10 Edition and I don't use additional Ressource packages.

    The Savegame has a size of 101,2MB.

    If I import an older exported backup of the same world, saving works fine.

    Tried already to deinstall and re-install the game, but I can't play further in this world.

    Please help.

    slightly related - what is the point of the mid mission save statues? I always save at them, but isn't it saving your game at the checkpoint that always immediately occurs at the screen where you find the save statue? I thought I might be able to quit
    and resume from those statues, but you can't - at least not in story. So what is the point of the save statues?

    Cloud Saved Games - Sorry, cloud storage isn't available. Status code: 83860009

    Hi,

    28th February cloud saves working fine with Diablo 3.

    1st March, Xbox live gold subscription expired. Launched Diablo 3, cloud saves not available.

    Renewed membership of Xbox gold for one month. Launched Diablo 3, selecting Cloud saves and message pops up stating "Sorry, cloud storage isn't available. Status code: 83860009"

    Troubleshooting

    • Moved save game from local Cloud Saves under settings > storage to a USB.
    • Launched Diablo 3
    • Choose USB, saves game works fine
    • Choose Cloud Saves, no error or message appears and asks to setup your screen and create a new character. No saves available but it does work.
    • Exited back to console settings and moved save game back to cloud storage
    • Launched Diablo 3
    • Choose Cloud Saves, message appears "Sorry, cloud storage isn't available. Status code: 83860009"
    Can't find info on this Status Code. Need help to resolve issue, thanks.

    Suggestion: Please add a status for Cloud Saved Games to the Service Status page. If I can't access my Could saved games, I can't play my games.

    Yes - your multiplayer status is not saved to the Xbox, it is saved on the corresponding game's servers.

    Wow - I was wrong. Turns out that I didn't give the game a chance to load from my previous save statue position. I was confused because the mission I left was Amon Hen - when I loaded my save, I was in the canoes paddling and I assumed I would start the
    mission from the beginning. In stead when I arrived at the shore the mission started from the save statue position.

    There should be a "Save and Quit to Middle Earth" option when saving at the statue. That would make things a little more clear.
