Can't save any of my captures in Game DVR !

Please help me !

I can't save any of my captured clips or screenshots in my Xbox One !

I tried "Manage" then "selected a clip" then "Save" but every time I did this I got error message telling me that nothing was saved and try again later !!

Game DVR "Captures can't be saved. Please try again later."

My Game DVR will not save any clips that I recorded when going on to the Game DVR app showing the error "Captures can't be saved. Please try again later." This only happened after my Xbox Live Gold ran out, so is there any solutions with this problem?

Dvr issues (no save option for clips) any solutions?

Can't save any game dvr and can't view them on smartglass either. I got 20+ clips and can't save any of them. My clips show gamertag/gamertag instead of gamertag/author any solutions?

If you have not already, try to power cycle you console.. If this does not help, it may be a connection issue, or an account issue.

Start with the account issue, and delete and re-download, then from there move to resetting your router/modem, if you have a router, try hard wiring if you can, if you need to, contact your internet provider.

And at worst try to factory restore your console.

Also if you have Windows 10 or know somebody with windows 10, you can download your game clips through the Xbox app

M3tal Daz3, Yeah, like I said it will make clips and take screenshots, I just can't SAVE any of them. Going into Game DVR I can either select one and get this message:

"Capture not saved

Sorry, the capture you selected was not saved. Please try again."

Or all of them and get this slightly different one:

"No captures saved

Sorry, none of your selected captures were saved. Please try again."

And no other info is provided as to why. No error code. And after awhile, unsaved screens/clips get deleted automatically.

Just tried on a separate account. I created a 22 second clip and then opened game DVR. Got the same error message on the other account:

"Capture Not Saved

Sorry, the capture you selected was not saved. Please try again."

Hi,

To see where your captures are saved, open the Xbox App, select Settings, and then select Game DVR. Under Saving captures, select Open folder to see your captures in File Explorer.

By default, game clips and screenshots are saved in your Videos folder, in a folder named
Captures. This can be moved to different places on your PC, including elsewhere on your hard drive or to external drives. Your Windows 10 PC saves the default storage to where the Captures folder is created.

I've managed to capture it happening twice with Mafia 3 on my game DVR, videos are in my recent game captures on my profile.

I have the same problem. I can't save any captures whether they're clips or screenshots. Since I've been using Game DVR, I could only save pictures and clips within a day of capture, but recently I can't save at all.

I've checked my settings to make sure they're all correct, unchecked them, unplugged my console then turned it back on, and rechecked them.

I power cycled my console as well

Tried to capture on multiple games to see if it's game related

Cleared all other captures (a lot was deleted)

removed my account and re added it

I even did a factory reset, but nothing's working.

I have a 1tb Halo 5 xbox, so maybe that's the problem.

I've also been using a free trial of xbox gold if that's helpful, but with the free trial, it was working for a time. I even used a new trial in case the previous one expired and still nothing.

My xbox also notified me of game save data not matching up with what's on cloud and having to sync for every game. That was when the problem started. Could that be the cause?
