Cant save any configurations in win10 Xbox Accessories one elite controller app

Selecting community configurations and adding one I get a grey bar saying Added but it does not show up in list and I can go to the same game config and add it over and over again without it being added to the list.
Selecting +New configuration I get to select a name, save and configure but when I return to the list it does not show up.

Actually, there is no list. Only;

1 Default

2 Default

Right clicking on either of these will not result in a menu popping up.

I bought this xbox one elite controller two days ago and I did create one Config1 that seems to remain effective since the light intensity on the cotroller is still vague. But it does not show up in the app. Attempting to create a new config I can move the
Xbox light brightness bar but the light intensity on the controller will not change.

I can change name of controller in Device Info and FW v is 2.3.2388.0

It is not "Assigned To" anything

In order to replicate you might need to right click on your 1name and 2name and select Restore Defafult or something similar as I did this and got rid of the "list" config1 config2

Elite Controller Configurations On PC

Hello. I am using my xbox elite controller on my windows 10 PC along with the xbox accessories app. I am able to save two configurations to my controller switch #1 & #2. However, I was wondering if it is possible at all to save more that just two configurations
within the xbox accessories app for me to switch over to later when I need another setup. I want to be able to create a third config and save it in the library where all of the other preset configs are located on the left side of the xbox accessories app which
currently contain presets for Forza, Gears, and Halo.

When i click "+ New Configuration" I am able to make my third config and save it which shows up correctly on the left side, and I am able to swap it with other configs but when I close and re-open the xbox accessories app the third config that was once in
the app on the left is now gone.

Is there a way to save a third configuration to the xbox accessories app without it disappearing later on?

 

Microsoft ELITE Xbox one Controller: no configurations present in the Xbox Accessories app

I just bought a new Microsoft Elite Xbox One controller. I have one at work, and got one for home.

In the Xbox Accessories app, i can customize the configurations, and add new ones on the controller i have at work. Mine on the other hand does not work. I tried to add community configurations, create new ones, edit the current Default settings, and will
not save the configs.

I tried it on 2 PCs, my gamepad always has this issue, the other one doesn't. A wired connection was used.
