    Hello, My name is Jesse. I'm an Independent Advisor and a member of the Microsoft community and I'd love to assist you today.

    1.17 has a new OpenGL requirement. Try updating your graphics driver. If that does not work, download your latest graphics driver (even if you just updated it), uninstall the graphics driver, then reinstall it using the file you downloaded. If your graphics card isn’t old, it should be able to support latest OpenGL requirement.

    If that still fails, your CPU might not be able to support the new OpenGL requirement.

    I just can't get my head around it, it does just seem that my xbox has an issue with Minecraft and nothing else. Only the latest version of Minecraft at that! Sadly no luck with running the initial setup or using another profile, just keep getting the same
    error. I fear I am rapidly running out of options. What am I to do without Minecraft?! Go outside? Oh don't be silly.
